Pupil Leaders

At Barnfields we feel that it is important to empower the children, creating opportunities for them to have a direct impact on school improvement, therefore creating true leaders of the future.

Children are encouraged to be role models for each other and have the courage to speak out.  Pupil leadership roles support the culture that our ethos creates.  The Junior Leadership Team, Eco Warriors, Health and Safety Team, Ambassadors, Maths Leaders, Reading Champions and Sports Leaders support a positive approach and demonstrate that our children have a voice that is heard. 

Creating opportunities for children to use true leadership skills is a key part in preparing them for the many adventures ahead of them in life.
